Dawitas’ Code of Business Ethics and Conduct clearly communicates its mandate that all personnel and business partners respect human rights and the dignity of human beings, as well share a commitment to prohibiting bribery and other crimes in carrying out our operations. Our Code informs all employees, contractors and third parties of the company’s expectations and of their responsibilities and obligations as they relate to our fundamental values.

Ethics Hotline and Complaint & Grievance Procedures
Dawita is committed to complying with the letter and spirit of all laws, regulations, contractual and ethical obligations of this industry and our own fundamental corporate values.
As part of Dawita’s commitment to legal, moral and ethical business practices, the company has a complaint and grievance procedure for employees, personnel working on our behalf, and outside third parties to report issues regarding the company or its personnel.
Complaints or grievances can be raised directly to your primary Dawita point of contact or through our Ethics Hotline. Our Ethics Hotline is hosted by a third party provider and is available 24 hours a day, seven days per week. Complaints or grievances can be made via the web by dialing +17144614916. In addition, personnel or third parties based in Iraq can make a reverse charge or collect call to the United States using the following number: +17144614916. All reverse charge or collect calls will be accepted by the contact center using an automated English message.
Retaliation against any individual who reports a complaint or grievance is strictly prohibited.
Commitment to Protecting Human Rights
At Dawita, adhering to, and living by, the principles of humanitarian law and human rights, is central to our core values and beliefs. As a part of our commitment to conducting operations in a legal, ethical and moral manner, Dawita has adopted an organizational-wide human rights policy to further inform and educate our employees. The policy states that Dawita’s business conduct should be guided by the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other applicable human rights documents and principles. These include the Chemical Weapons Convention, Convention Against Torture, Geneva Conventions (including Protocols Additional to the Geneva Conventions) and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights. We are also committed to supporting international and local efforts to combat and eliminate human trafficking, corruption, and financial crimes.
